Stories

Stories are short editorial pieces — essays, case studies, deeper dives — published alongside the product. They sit one step removed from the scoring tool itself, giving context that a score can't convey directly.

What's on the Stories page

The Stories page renders as a grid of cards. Each card shows a title, a short description, a publish date, and the author. Click any card to open the full story at /custom-raam/stories/<slug>.

What Stories are for

They are not documentation. A Story can't tell you what a button does or how to use a feature — that's what the rest of /docs is for. Stories exist because there's judgment that numbers can't capture, and the people behind RAAM would rather write it down than leave it implicit.

A worked example

If you're early in a Custom RAAM profile and the numbers feel arbitrary ("I don't know what weight to give Commute Access"), scan the Stories grid for a piece where the author shows their own weight-setting process on a real search. You'll rarely find your exact situation, but you'll see the structure of how someone else made the call — and that shape usually transfers.
